The All-on-6® is a full arch implant rehabilitation technique that uses 6 titanium implants to secure a complete arch prosthesis. The distribution of 6 anchor points expands the support surface and more evenly balances masticatory forces across the entire arch.
Like All-on-4®, the All-on-6® is performed with immediate loading: on the day of surgery, the patient leaves with a fully functional provisional fixed prosthesis. You do not go home without teeth. The definitive prosthesis is placed 4 to 6 months later, once the osseointegration of the 6 implants is confirmed by CT scan.
The practical difference is particularly relevant for patients with higher masticatory demands or average bone density: the 6 implants offer greater tolerance to mechanical load, reduce stress on each anchor point, and result in greater prosthesis longevity in the long term.
