Yes. Immediate loading is the standard protocol at Alldent for eligible All-on-4® cases. On the same day as the surgery, we place a provisional fixed prosthesis on the 4 implants. You leave the clinic with functional fixed teeth. There is no period without teeth during the treatment.
The surgery is performed under local anaesthesia and is practically painless. Conscious sedation is available for anxious patients. Post-operative discomfort is normal and is controlled with anti-inflammatories for 5-7 days. The vast majority of our patients in Benalmádena are surprised by how manageable the recovery is.
Between 4 and 6 months from surgery to the definitive prosthesis. The active phase — surgery and immediate recovery — lasts about 10-14 days.
