Hyaluronic acid is a substance that your own body already produces: it is part of the skin, cartilage, and connective tissue, and its function is to retain water and provide volume. The fillers we use reproduce that same molecule in a laboratory, in a sterile gel format and with different densities depending on the area to be treated. When injected into the lip, the gel provides immediate volume and attracts water to the area, which is what gives it that hydrated and plump appearance.
It is an outpatient treatment: it is performed in the clinic, using topical anaesthetic cream and a micro-cannula or fine needle, in a session lasting about 30 to 40 minutes. It does not require surgery, sedation, or post-treatment rest. The big difference compared to other augmentation methods is that hyaluronic acid is temporary and reversible: the body gradually reabsorbs it and, if you are not convinced by the result, it can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This makes it the safest option for those considering it for the first time.
Five hyaluronic acid treatment options, adapted to each anatomy and objective to complement your dental treatment. During the free assessment, we determine which one best fits your case.
For thin lips that do not want to gain size, or dehydrated lips with vertical wrinkles and a dull appearance. Low-density hyaluronic acid is injected to improve texture, shine, and elasticity without modifying volume. It is the most common entry point for those who have never had their lips treated and do not want a visible change.
The most requested treatment. Volume is provided proportionately, respecting each patient’s anatomy, usually with 0.5 ml or 1 ml of product depending on the starting point. With half a millilitre, the change is subtle and difficult to identify from the outside; with one millilitre, the result is more evident but remains natural if the distribution is well executed.
When volume is sufficient but the lip border has lost definition, something that happens progressively with age. We work solely on the contour line and Cupid’s bow to restore sharpness to the perimeter. It also corrects lipstick bleeding, the effect where lipstick blurs outwards.
Vertical injection from inside the lip that projects volume upwards rather than forwards. The result is a flatter and more lifted lip, with a more pronounced upper border and greater vermilion exposure. A more demanding technique that requires favourable anatomy: not all lips are candidates, and we assess this on a case-by-case basis.
Asymmetrical lips are the norm, not the exception, but when the difference is marked, it can be compensated for with an uneven distribution of the product. For downturned corners—that gesture of permanent sadness that does not correspond to the mood—it is injected into the corner of the mouth to lift the line.
During the free assessment, we analyse your lip anatomy and tell you frankly what suits you and what does not. If we consider that you are not a candidate, we will tell you.
Each step is planned from start to finish so you know exactly what is going to happen, when, and why.

I have been bringing my daughters here for two years and they come happily, without any fear. The way they interact with the little ones is admirable. And the children’s area is a huge success.
I came for a second opinion and ended up having my treatment here. The transparency regarding the quote and the timescales was what made the difference. 100% recommended.
My English‑speaking experience was seamless from the first call. Professional, calm and absolutely no upselling pressure. Veneers turned out exactly as planned.
I arrived with fear and a great deal of mistrust following a bad experience. The AllDent team explained every step with calmness and honesty. Today, I smile without a second thought.
I have regained the confidence to sit in a dental chair. Pablo and his team treated me with a level of warmth and attentiveness that I had never experienced before. And the result is spectacular.
Between 6 and 12 months in most cases. The lips are an area of constant movement and are highly vascularised, so the product is reabsorbed slightly faster than in other areas of the face. The duration depends on each person’s metabolism, the density of the product, and habits such as smoking or intense sun exposure, which shorten it. In successive treatments, the result usually lasts longer.
It is uncomfortable, not painful. We apply anaesthetic cream 20 minutes before and many fillers incorporate lidocaine, which significantly reduces the sensation during injection. Most of our patients describe it as occasional pricks that are perfectly bearable. Upon leaving the clinic, no analgesia is needed.
The price depends on the amount of product and the technique: hydration with 0.5 ml is not the same as an augmentation with 1 ml or a Russian lips technique. At Alldent, we always give a fixed price during the free assessment, with the product and the follow-up review included. Be wary of prices well below the market rate: in aesthetic medicine, the product and the person injecting it are exactly what you are paying for.
Maximum swelling occurs in the first 24 to 48 hours and decreases clearly from the third day. After a week, the lips already look normal, and the final result is seen between the second and third week. For this reason, we recommend not scheduling the treatment in the seven days prior to an important event.
